Plumbing Inspection

Plumbing Fees:

Plumbing permit fees are established by Resolution.

Licensing Requirements:

Plumbing licensing is administered by the State of Idaho:

• Division of Building Safety; Plumbing Bureau
• License Search

Permits:

Plumbing permits are required anytime a plumbing fixture or system is installed, altered, or replaced with few exceptions. This includes water heaters, sinks, toilets, piping and basement finishes. Please contact our office with any questions.

Permit Application Forms:

• Permit applications are not currently available online. Please contact the building department office during normal business hours. Thank you.

Inspections:

Greg McBride serves as the chief plumbing inspector for the City of Ammon. The plumbing code prescribes three possible inspection times:

• Underground Inspection
• Rough-in Inspection
• Final Inspection
