Fiber Optic Field Installer

City of Ammon Fiber Optic Department is hiring Field Installers. Responsibilities include installing fiber vaults, duct, cable and other infrastructure. Heavy equipment operation and manual labor will be involved. Starting wage is $14.00/hr. depending on experience, or $15/hr. with experience and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). CDL is preferred.

Recreation Coordinator

City of Ammon Parks Department is hiring a Recreation Coordinator. This individual will spend the majority of their time in the Parks department, with some of their time spent in the Public Works department. Responsibilities include: Planning, recruiting and coordinating a variety of sports programs and activities, community events, facility and building maintenance, supervision of all seasonal recreation employees, duties in the water, waste water and street departments and a variety of other responsibilities. Heavy equipment operation and manual labor will be involved. Wage rage from $21-29/hr. depending on experience.

Fire Department

The Ammon Fire Department is accepting applications for Resident Firefighters. The Resident Firefighter Program provides a unique opportunity as well as free room and living expenses. Residents are trained as Firefighter/EMTs and given the responsibilities of responding with fire apparatus to emergency scenes, EMS calls, and station detail duties. No prior training is needed to apply, but will be considered.
